Lebanon Police Corporal Receives Award

unsungheroCorporal Michael Wright of the Lebanon Police Department is an UnsungHero. Wright received the award for his efforts to go beyond the call of duty for his work with abuse issues in our region.

Wright received the award at the annual professional conference at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) on Tuesday.  The conference is a joint effort between Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth (CHaD), the Child Advocacy Center (CAC) of Grafton and Sullivan Counties at DHMC, and The Family Place in Norwich, Vermont.

The Lebanon Police Department and the CAC work together in the mission to seek justice against those who violate the law and to care for those affected by life-changing events.

Cathy Bean, Program Manager of the CAC of Grafton and Sullivan Counties said of Corporal Wright that he exemplified courage and dedication to helping children and families whose lives have been impacted by child abuse.
