A Claremont woman is charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated and Negligent Homicide after a fatal accident in Claremont on Saturday afternoon. Police say Amber King 36 was driving eastbound on Main Street when she lost control of her 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee and caused it to overturn several times before resting on its roof. A32-year-old female passenger was ejected and landed in the Sugar River and three others were trapped in the Jeep. The Three occupants had to be cut from the vehicle. The 32-year female who was thrown from the vehicle was pronounced dead by the NH State Medical Examiner’s office at Valley Regional. Two passengers who suffered serious injuries were transferred to D.H.M.C. from Valley Regional. Amber King also suffered serious injuries The names of the decedent and passengers are being withheld pending next of kin notifications. .
