Sunapee Clock Stops at Wrong Time

Habor livery houseThe Sunapee Select Board recently voted 4-1 to pay $1,850 for repairs to the Harbor House Livery Clock. Sunapee Riverway purchased the Livery building with the condition of the clock working on the clock tower. Riverway took possession of the Livery House in late October while the clock was still being repaired. Highway Department Director Scott Hazelton explains

Hazelton recommended the repair so the Town can turn the clock over to the Riverway in working condition as per the original agreement. Mike Durfor of the Riverway requested that the clock warranty be signed over to the Riverway, so it is clear that the Riverway owns the clock and the warranty.

Hazelton said D’Avanza Clock Repair would reset the clock after it is repaired and reinstalled.
