Lebanon Man Arrested For Claremont Purse Theft

brandonOn June 19, 2016 the Claremont Police Department responded to Hannaford Supermarket on Washington Street for a reported robbery in the parking lot of the store. On arrival responding officers spoke with the victim and witnesses.   The responding officers learned that the victim had her purse forcibly taken from her while she loaded her recent grocery purchases into her vehicle. The suspect then fled west on foot through business parking lots. Responding officers collected information about the suspect involved from the victim, witnesses, and surveillance cameras in the area. Ultimately, the suspect was identified as Brenden Harriman, age 18, from Lebanon, New Hampshire. The investigation into the robbery was concluded June 22, 2016 with the arrest of Mr. Harriman.

Mr. Harriman was held without bail at the Sullivan County House of Corrections pending his arraignment in the 5th Circuit-District Division-Claremont Court on June 23, 2016 at 1:00pm.  At arraignment Mr. Harriman’s bail was set at $5000.00 cash.  The Claremont Police Department was aided in this investigation by the Lebanon Police Department, Arrowhead Motors, Dunkin Donuts and the store managers at Hannaford Supermarket.

    Really buddy stealing purse’s from women, In school when they asked what do you want to be when you grow up ? was this the answer … ummm a loser ! your parents must be proud of you have fun in jail
