A Lebanon man was arrested on three counts of Burglary just after 4:30 am on Thursday. Lebanon Police Officers responded to TBW Automotive on Mechanic Street for a report that the front door had been smashed in. A subsequent investigation determined that a subject had entered the business in an attempted burglary. Later that morning, Country Woolens and Dairy Twirl, both on Mechanic Street, reported they had been burglarized.
Lebanon Police Patrol Officers and Detectives were able to obtain video surveillance from the businesses and identified the suspect as William Burr, age 44, of Lebanon, New Hampshire. Burr was arrested for three felony counts of Burglary and one felony count of Possession of the Controlled Drug Heroin.
Burr was held on $5,000 cash bail at the Grafton County House of Corrections pending his arraignment on October 14, 2016.
