A Grantham NH couple opened their home this weekend to 21 Chihuahua and Chihuahua mix dogs that were rescued from the Richard and Patrinia Newcomb home in Croydon. Andrea and Don Conger converted a back room of their home into a make shift kennel. Four large cages separate the males from the females, the very sick dogs from the others and a separate cage for a mama and her three newborn pups. All dogs need medical attention, one has water on the brain, some parvo, some have growths, others are extremely malnourished but all of them have a fighting spirit and a need for human contact. The dogs are going to Bedford Animal Rescue on Sunday. Andrea is an animal lover and runs Chelsea’s Footprints, a registered charity that supports handicapped animals. Was wondering about adoption of a female chihuahua that was rescued how would I go about to adopt?
