The Trescott Water Supply Lands in Hanover are once again open to the public for recreation. In September, multiple violations forced the Trescott Company to close the lands to everyone except for hunters. The Trescott Recreation Committee worked with the Hanover Department of Public Works to safely re-opening the lands by surveillance cameras throughout the property, clearly marking the 250’ reservoir boundary, updated maps and signs, and trained volunteer to great visitors and explain rules.
The Trescott Recreation Committee asks the public to help keep this beautiful area open for all to enjoy, by observing the simple rules for use that protect the community’s drinking water quality. The Trescott Recreation Committee is composed of representatives of DPW, Hanover Conservancy, Upper Valley Trails Alliance, Hanover Parks, and Recreation Dept., and interested neighbors.
