Judge Finds Probable Cause For Lebanon Man

boursorvitA judge found grounds for a Lebanon man to face charges of stabbing two people and setting fire to a church and 2 other buildings.

Anthony K. Boisvert 27, of Lebanon, is being held on $500,000 bail. Boisvert allegedly set fire to the First Baptist Church in Lebanon and a residence at 68 Mascoma Street in December. He is also charged with arson of another Lebanon in January of 2016.  Boisvert stabbed two relatives who with police about him during the police investigation.

He is facing two counts of first-degree assault and three counts of arson. His case has been referred to the public defender’s office. Boisvert’s case on Tuesday was bound over to Grafton Superior Court. During his hearing Boisvert said he set the church on fire because he was mad at God for making him a pedophile.

Boisvert’s twin sister, Andrea Gilbert is charged with falsifying physical evidence for allegedly trying to erase information from her cellphone in the investigation. Her case is being bound over to superior court and bail was set for $20,000.
