Missing Dartmouth Student Found Dead

adam-wright On January 30, 2017, Hanover Police sent out a Missing Person flyer requesting assistance in locating Adam Wright, a 21 year old Dartmouth Student. At approximately 9:30 a.m. on January 31st, Hanover Police received a call that a Dartmouth College employee had located a backpack along the bank of the river, approximately 500 yards north of the Ledyard Bridge. Hanover Police, Hanover Fire, and NH Fish and Wildlife responded to the area.

At approximately 9:57 a.m., the body of Adam Wright was  discovered  in the  river  near  the  shoreline.  The Medical Examiner’s office responded to the scene. The  cause  of death  at this time  is undetermined, but the preliminary investigation has revealed that no foul play is  involved.  An  autopsy  will  be  performed  later this week  in Concord.  The investigation  into this untimely  death is on-going.
