Two Arrested for 2016 Voter Fraud in Sunapee Election

A lengthy investigation into allegations of fraud stemming from a falsified email prior to the March 2016 Sunapee School Board election resulted in Officers from the Sunapee Police Department and the Manchester police making two arrests yesterday.

Joseph Furlong of Sunapee and Adam Garr of Manchester were taken into custody yesterday and Charged with Class A and Class misdemeanors involving several that fall under New Hampshire’s voting statutes. The New Hampshire Attorney Generals office and the Sunapee Police Department spear headed that investigation.

Sunapee Police Chief David Cahill was on Live and Local this morning to discuss the case.
