Weather Delays Work on Rockingham Bridge

Last week’s snow storm is causing a delay of the bridge replacement project on I-91 over the Williams River in Rockingham VT.  The proposed start date of March 22, 2017 is postponed until further notice. The Vermont Agency of Transportation will be doing some minor work removing temporary signage this week and should have little to no impact on motorists.

It is anticipated the construction work will begin spring 2017 but weather conditions may delay the start. The project has an anticipation date of May 18, 2020 for completion.  Anyone with questions or concerns may contact Stephanie Barrett, Public Relations Officer at 802-862-6085 or toll free at 866-602-6868.
