Two VT Men Face Drug Charges in MA

Two Vermont men were arrested on drug charges in Massachusetts late Tuesday night.  MA State Police say Jesse Ramcke 30, of Island Pond and passenger Travis Pelletier 27, of Brighton VT were arrested after a traffic stop for speeding on I-91 in Bernardston. After an investigation, Trooper Jesse Gadarowski determined the men were in possession of suspected to be heroin.  Ramcke and Pelletier were arrested for Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class A Substance (Heroin), and Conspiracy to Violate the Drug Law. In addition, Ramcke was charged with speeding and Pelletier was charged with Misleading a Police Investigation.

Ramcke was held on $5,000.00 bail and Pelletier was held on $10,000.00 bail at the Franklin County House of Correction.  They were arraigned in Greenfield District Court on Wednesday.
