VT Man Accused of Uploading Child Porn to Facebook

VT Attorney General Thomas Donovan announced Tuesday that a Montpelier man was arraigned for promoting child pornography on Facebook. Andrew Sollace of Montpelier was arraigned on March 8 in Washington Vermont Superior Court, on three counts of promoting child pornography. Court documents stated the Vermont Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, that child pornography was uploaded to a Facebook group. The charges stem from an investigation by personnel from the Vermont Attorney General’s Office, Vermont’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, and multiple law enforcement agencies including Homeland Security. Mr. Sollace plead not guilty at his arraignment. The Court imposed conditions of release, that Sollace limit access to children and Internet use.
