Officers Graduate from Leadership Training

In March, four Lebanon Police Officers graduated from supervisory leadership courses. Sergeants Brady Harwood and Rich Norris attended the Primex Supervisors’ Academy held at the Primex Training Facility in Concord. The Supervisors Academy is a three day course that helps build management andleadership skills for supervisors through an interactive learning experience.

Both Sergeant Harwood and Norris are assigned to the Patrol Bureau. Lieutenants Rich Smolenski and Matt Isham attended the Roger Williams Mid-Management Course through their Justice System and Research Institute in Bristol, Rhode Island. The Mid-Management Course is a weeklong program that is part of Roger Williams University’s Command Training Series. Coursework addressed contemporary concepts of management and leadership relevant to the first line supervisors in a modern police agency. Lieutenant Isham is the Commander of the Detective Bureau while Lieutenant Smolenski commands the Patrol Bureau as well as the Tactical and Containment Team
