The Warner Planning Board postponed the public hearing for the indoor shooting range and convenience store. The hearing is postponed for two weeks due to one of the abuters not properly being notified when the Zoning Board heard the proposal back in March. A motion for a rehearing filed by the attorney for Norm Carlson, owner of abuter MadgeTech Inc., stated that the state of New Hampshire was not given notice when the state’s Department of Recreation and Economic Development owns a plot of land called the Davisville State Forest across from the proposed location of the range, and also a state Department of Transportation shed near the property.
At their Monday meeting Hopkinton Select Board voted to send a letter to Warner questioning whether they should have been notified.
The hearing is rescheduled for April 17 at 7 p.m. at the town hall.
