On April 11th, 2017 a joined surveillance involving the Keene Police and the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Drug Task Force was conducted at the Day’s Inn on Ashbrook Street, Keene. As a result a drug transaction was observed and both of the below parties taken into custody. Searches subsequent to arrest resulted in the seizure of suspect heroin.
Rice is being charged with one felony count of possession of suspected heroin: Bratton is being charged with two felony charges, both the possession and sale of suspected heroin. Rice was released on $5,000.00 personal recognizances and will be arraigned before the Cheshire Superior Court on April 27th, 2017; Bratton was held at the Cheshire County jail in lieu of $1,000.00 cash bail and is scheduled to be arraigned before the Cheshire Superior court on April 12th, 2017.
