After a non public session on Wednesday night the Croydon School Board unanimously accepted the resignations of the District’s Superintendent and Business Manger. Superintendent Greg Vogt was hired for the 2016-2017 school year after the district split with Newport’s SAU#43. Business Manager Beth Bierwirth was also hire after Croydon’s split with Newport. Each of the positions is part time. Vogt and Bierwirth will remain with the Croydon School District until June 30, 2017.
In other business the board voted 2-1 in favor of Croydon having full day kindergarten for the 2017-2018 school year with Jody Underwood and Angi Beaulieu voting yes and Jim Peschke voting no.
