Tilton Crash Leaves Two with Life Threatening Injuries

Shortly after 10:00 am this morning, the Tilton Police Department, was notified and responded to a multiple motor vehicle crash located on US Route 3 ( area of #885 Laconia Road) in the Town of Tilton, New Hampshire.

Upon arrival the at-scene investigation revealed a black 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix operated by Brian S. GAGE, age 33 of Pittsfield, NH was traveling northbound on US Route 3.  Simultaneously a blue 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer was traveling southbound on US Route 3 operated by Dennis BOUREY, age 55 of Sanborton, NH.

For unknown reasons at this time the 2006 black Pontiac Grand Prix crossed over the solid double yellow center line and into the path of the blue 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer.

As a result of this collision both operators suffered life threatening injuries.  The operator of the black 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix was transported to Lakes Region General Hospital where he was subsequently med-flighted to the Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine.  The operator of the blue 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer was transported to the Lakes Region General Hospital.  The passenger in the blue 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer Patricia BOUREY, age 50 of Sanborton, NH was transported to the Lakes Region General Hospital where she was then med-flighted to the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts with life-threatening injuries.

The operator of the black 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix, Brian S. GAGE was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated.

Assisting on scene were members of the Tilton Police Department, and Tilton Fire & Rescue & EMS Crews.
