Goffstown, NH – 35 year-old Nemesio Guzman from Londonderry, New Hampshire sustained serious injuries in a dirt bike accident today, Sunday June 4, 2017. He was operating his dirt bike on a private road when he lost control and collided with a tree at approximately 4:45 p.m. Guzman was riding with two friends when the accident occurred who immediately called 911 to start emergency personnel. The Goffstown Fire and Police departments along with New Hampshire Fish and Game Conservation Officers responded to the scene. Guzman was transported from the scene to Catholic Medical Center in Manchester for treatment of his injuries.
At this time New Hampshire Fish and Game is investigating the accident; inexperience and speed appear to be the main contributing factors in the accident. Guzman was wearing all the proper riding gear at the time of the accident, but was riding in an area that he did not have permission to be riding.
New Hampshire Fish and Game would like to remind all riders, that unless they are on an approved trail system or on their own property, all riders must have written landowner permission to be riding there.
