Sounds like a sunapee scam for a way to make money and a way to keep the police busy. Newport court must be pretty slow to bother making 40 underage kids to appear before a judge for such a violation. And then again the following weekend an additional 11 kids. Really?

The police do not make money off of court cases. It happens every summer. Underage drinking is against the law whether you agree with it or not.
