A Merrimack County Grand Jury indicted a Franklin woman for possession of carfentanil and fentanyl earlier this month. NH Attorney General Gordon MacDonald and Franklin Police Chief David Goldstein said in a press release yesterday that police arrested Jillian Broomstein on April 11th after police discovered the drugs in her apartment. The NH State Police Forensic Lab confirmed that they were carfentanil and fentanyl after testing. Broomstein is scheduled for arraignment on July 12th in Merrimack County Superior Court.

The New Hampshire Office of the Attorney General has been actively investigating and prosecuting the sale and possession of carfentanil cases throughout the State for the past several months.
