Vermont State Police continue their investigation into the homicide of Cindy Cook, who was found deceased on July 12, 2017 on Brook Road in the Town of Middlesex. Detectives have been looking into the disappearance of Cook’s creme colored 2009 Mini Cooper Clubman (likeness image attached – not actual vehicle) bearing Vermont registration GBH823.
Detectives have determined Randal Gebo, boyfriend of Cindy Cook, is in possession of and operating the Mini Cooper. Detectives also determined that Gebo has left the State of Vermont with the vehicle and was most recently believed to be in West Prescott, Arkansas yesterday afternoon where he used Cindy Cook’s debit card at a bank to withdraw cash.
Late last night, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Randal Gebo. The warrant is for aggravated vehicle operation without owner consent and fraudulent use of a credit card and possession of a credit card issued to another.
VT State Police wish to thank the public for numerous tips and leads concerning possible sightings of the Mini Cooper over the last few days.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Randal Gebo or the 2009 Mini Cooper is asked to contact the Vermont State Police Middlesex barracks at 802-229-9191. The attached photo is a recent picture of Randal Gebo.
