Police Investigate Hampton Harbor Death

On Saturday, July 29, 2017 at approximately 4:20 PM, New Hampshire State Police – Marine Patrol received a call regarding a body that was seen floating in Hampton Harbor near the Hampton River Bridge (also known as the Neil R. Underwood Memorial Bridge).

Responding agencies included the New Hampshire State Police, NHSP-Marine Patrol, United States Coast Guard, Hampton Police Department, and Hampton Fire Department.  Upon arrival, the body of a deceased adult male was recovered from the water.  His identity and the circumstances surrounding this incident are under investigation.  An autopsy has been scheduled.
