VSP Investigating Multiple Vehicle Crash

Vermont State Police are investigating a multiple vehicle crash that occurred on Sunday afternoon in Brookline.   Police said that a dark blue Ford Explorer traveling south left the road and struck a Nissan Rogue parked in the yard at Hill Road residence.  The impact pushed the Nissan into a GMC Sierra pickup truck that was also parked on the property.

The Nissan received extensive damage and the GMC pickup sustained moderate damage.  The operator of the Ford Explorer is reported to have slowed down before slowly driving off.

The vehicle is described as a dark blue, older model Ford Explorer with Vermont plates.  The Explorer had extensive damage to the driver’s side front corner, the headlight was hanging down, and pieces of the vehicle’s headlight lens were left at the scene.

The driver is described as a white male in his mid 20’s with brown hair, unshaven and an unkempt appearance, wearing a navy blue shirt

Anyone with information should contact Cpl. Brian Turner of the Westminster Barracks at 802-722-4600.
