On Sunday July 30, 2017 at 1125 AM a 75 year old Franklin man was reported missing from his residence on North Road to the Franklin Police Department. Shortly after being reported missing the same man was seen entering a wooded area off Salisbury Road over a mile from his residence wearing pajamas and slippers. A New Hampshire State Police K-9 along with Conservation Officers and Franklin Police Officers were called to the area to conduct a search. New England K-9 along with the Upper Valley Wilderness Response Team was also called to the area to assist. Shortly before 4 PM a New Hampshire State Police K-9 and his handler located the missing man approximately a half a mile into a thickly wooded area off Salisbury Road. The man was able to walk back to a waiting Franklin Fire Department Ambulance and was subsequently transported to Franklin Regional Hospital for further evaluation.
