Man Injured in Hopkinton ATV Accident

50 year-old Gregory Pace from  Bradford, Massachusetts sustained serious injuries in an ATV accident today, Sunday December 3, 2017. He was operating his ATV on one of the Bound Tree ATV trails in Hopkinton when his machine began to accelerate uncontrollably. Pace was able to get off the ATV before it collided with  some trees and came to rest at  approximately 3:25 PM but he sustained injuries when he impacted the ground. Pace was riding alone at the time of the incident but was soon discovered by a group of dirt bikers riding in the area, who immediately
called 911 to start emergency personnel. The Hopkinton Fire, EMS and Police departments along
with New Hampshire Fish and Game Conservation Officers responded to the scene. Pace was
transported from the scene to Concord Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
At this time New Hampshire Fish and Game is investigating the accident. Pace was wearing
proper riding gear at the time of the accident.
New Hampshire Fish and Game would like to remind all riders to wear proper safety gear while
operating OHRVs.
